​The Bennington Fire Department is located in Bennington County in Southwestern Vermont. Our department is comprised of volunteers, and we provide fire services to the town of Bennington, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  Additionally, as part of our mutual aid agreements, we regularly respond to nearby towns in Vermont, New York, and Massachusetts.  

Our department operates out of one station located on River Street in Bennington. We are equipped with two engines, a ladder truck, a rescue pumper, a rapid response vehicle, and a state HazMat truck/trailer.​
